Karo Glazer, called “a true singing asset and the best Poland has to offer”, an artist with a four-octave expressive voice and endless musical imagination, whose talent was appreciated by Tom Waits and members of Coldplay during Songwriting Competition, announces her third – and first independent—album, #LadyDynamite. Karo Glazer is a singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and music producer all the same time. She also wrote music for theatre plays and ballet. She played and recorded with both jazz and rock musicians, such as Lars Danielsson, Mike Stern, John Taylor, Klaus Doldinger, and multiple Grammy-winning producers Martin Walters (Esperanza Spalding, Spyro Gyra, Dianne Reeves) and Flemming Rasmussen (Metallica, Rainbow, Mr Big), with whom she produced also “#LadyDynamite”. After years of performing vocal jazz and releasing “Black Sun” (7’ vinyl - the first single from her newest album with solar foil cover) Karo returns with a powerful LP and delivers a euphoric brass arrangement like Blood Sweet and Tears, trance groove like Muse, guitars like Jack White and 6/8 ballad. Her explosive voice expresses a full range of her emotions. Her highly engaging lyrics are rich and remarkable in their storytelling. and she sure is shaking it up.
